Bringing the beauty of Orthodox, Byzantine, and Coptic iconography to modern audiences.

We are a Twin Cities based art collective focused on classical iconography as well as modern interpretations of religious icons. We aim to keep historical art from varying times and places alive and accessible to modern people. Joe Sattler and Noel Matz are the two resident artists who own and operate Iconosancta. Joe Sattler was educated at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and met Noel while studying iconography under master iconographer Deb Korluka. Together with fellow artists and help from dear friends we launched Iconosancta in 2023.
